Planning a romantic Christmas?

It’s the perfect time of year to ask for your loved one’s hand in marriage - what with the Christmas lights, the festive feelings and a time when families come together.

Really all that matters is ‘she’, or ‘he’, say yes and that you’re both head-over-heels in love; but the same time you’ve got to do something special. Right? Keep in mind what she or he really loves. Make it personal, but if all this is too much stress. just keep it simple.

In The Snow: We can’t plan the weather, although there are rumours it will snow this winter. Take a walk together in this winter wonderland, towards a quiet-spot, have the ring ready, and just ask. How romantic.

A Series Of Gifts: For added brownie points buy your partner a series of gifts, they don’t have to be big or flashy instead opt for thoughtful little things that reflect your relationship. End the gifts with the ring.

Christmas Treasure Hunt: If your partner likes surprises and are willing to play this game, plan a treasure hunt around your neighbourhood. Have the last one end up somewhere she, or he, loves.

Stay At Home: If you’re not a fan of all the Christmas parties, then plan the ultimate night-in, with an at-home proposal. If you’re foodies, don’t settle for wine and cheese - think caviar and Champagne.

Enlist Help: If your partner loves their dog or cat - almost as much as they love you - attach festive accessories to the pet. Hopefully they will oblige. Put the ring on a ribbon and hang it around the animal’s neck. Cheesy, yes; but, undeniably adorable too.
