Combined Counties Premier Division North rivals Burnham, Holyport and Windsor & Eton have found out who they’ll play in the early weeks of the season after the league released the first tranche of fixtures this morning (Monday).

Holyport will begin their 2025/26 season with a home game against Wokingham Town on Tuesday, July 29 (7.45pm kick-off) before switching competitions and visiting Burnham in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup on Saturday, August 2 (3pm kick-off).

They’ll resume their league campaign with a trip to Reading City on Tuesday, August 5 (7.45pm kick-off) before going on the road again the following Saturday to play Edgware & Kingsbury FC.

Another team who pushed hard for the play-offs last season before falling away in the final weeks of the season were Burnham.

The Blues finished sixth last season but will be hoping for a top five finish at least this season in Mo and Omar Bakali’s first full season as joint managers.

They begin their campaign on Wednesday, July 30, with a home game against Reading City. The FA Cup clash with Holyport follows on the Saturday before the Blues go to British Airways in the league on Tuesday, August 5 and then host Kidlington at the 1878 Stadium on Saturday, August 9.

Windsor & Eton will also be looking to make an impression at step five after claiming the Combined Counties League 1 title in impressive fashion under Matty Angell last season.

The Royalists kick things off in their new division against Hilltop at Stag Meadow on Tuesday, July 29. Attention then switches to the FA Cup, and a long trip to Portishead Town in the extra preliminary stage of the FA Cup on Saturday, August 2.

Barring an FA Cup replay, there is no mid-week game for Angell’s side and they’re back at home on Saturday, August 9 against Ardley United.

Dropping down a division, Windsor FC swing into competitive action even earlier with a trip to Sandhurst Town on Saturday, July 26. They then take on SL Benfica away from home on Tuesday, July 29.

A home game follows for The Jacks against Spelthorne Sports on Friday, August 1 and they’re back on the road again on Tuesday, August 5 for a league game at Chalfont St Peter.

Their final fixture of this set of matches sees them host Woodley United at Holloways Park on Friday, August 8.
