Police have arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of assaulting a woman on Christmas Day in Eton Wick. A woman in her 20s was pushed by a man, who also tried to trip her up, as he was walking from The Greyhound Public House towards Colenorton Crescent between 1.30pm and 2pm. The arrested man, of no fixed address, has been released on bail while the investigation continues. An appeal for witnesses has also been issued.
The attacker has been described as a white man in his mid-twenties, who was walking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He had light-brown curly hair, facial hair and a tattoo on his neck. Investigating officer Detective Constable Jane Darby-Shearing said: “I am appealing to anyone that may have witnessed this incident, or has information that may help to please get in touch.
"If you were driving around this area at the time of the incident and may have dash cam footage, please contact us. If you live locally and have video doorbell or CCTV footage, please come forward.” A statement from Thames Valley Police said reports can be made by calling 101 and quoting the reference number 43250652536. The force added that reports can also be made anonymously through the charity Crimestoppers.
