Burnham Beeches attack: man, 31, charged with attempted murder

A man has been charged with attempted murder over an attack in Burnham Beeches woods last week (May 23).

Robert Reardon, 31, was charged on Friday (May 30) and has been remanded in police custody ahead of an appearance at Aylesbury Crown Court set for June 24.

Reardon, of High Street in Lowestoft, is accused of the attempted murder of a man in his 20s who was left needing hospital treatment after being attacked in Burnham Beeches.

The man has since been discharged from the hospital.
