With Christmas just around the corner, there are plenty of festive activities and events taking place across the Royal Borough and surrounding areas.

Maidenhead
Until December 20: The Cards for Good Causes pop-up shop is back at Maidenhead Library with a selection of seasonal gifts, cards, stocking fillers, decorations, wrap and tableware on offer.

From November 23 onwards: Shoppers can enjoy sing along to some classic Christmas favourites at the Festive Sing-along Sundays in the Nicholsons Centre.
Until December 21: Visitors will be able to pick up unique gifts, seasonal treats and local produce at the Maidenhead Artisan & Farmers’ Christmas Market in the Waterside Quarter from 10am to 3pm.
There will be plenty of artisan crafts, handmade treats and food to enjoy.

From November 22 onwards: The Make Maidenhead reindeer are hiding in the town centre’s shop windows.
There are 24 and shoppers are tasked with finding them this festive season.

From November 25 to December 13 and December 26 to January 3: The StoryDen presents The Comet at Norden Farm this festive season.
Based on the book by author Joe Todd-Stanton, the plot follows Nyla who has moved to the city.
When a comet soars through the streets and starts to grow and glow, Nyla cannot resist following it.
The story features puppetry, songs and lots of magic.

December 13 to December 24: It is pantomime season and Snow White has opened at the Baylis Theatre at the Braywick Leisure Centre.
The high energy show, supported by Marlow FM will feature comedy, hit songs, and plenty of participation from the audience.

December 16 to December 24 at 10am, 11.30am and 1.30pm: The Last Baguette presents A Winter’s Tail at Norden Farm.
The solstice is approaching and the snow is falling as Ratty gets ready. Will her friends be able to make it through the snow and into the winter woodland revels?
The show will feature adventure, excitements, play-acting, music, games and lots of snow.
The relaxed play-along theatre adventure will run for one hour, including a stay and play session.

December 16 to December 19 at 7.45pm, December 20 at 2pm and 7.45pm and December 21 at 2pm: Maidenhead Drama Guild will present Robin Hood, in association with Norden Farm.
Guests can join Robin Hood and his merry men as they battle the evil Sheriff of Nottingham and his two henchmen.
Will Robin scupper the Sheriff’s plans and free the land from tyranny and win Maid Marian’s heart? All will be revealed at the show.
Age guidance for the show is eight years plus.

December 20 and December 22: The Braywick Leisure Centre will be hosting The Santa Show this festive season.
It is Christmas Eve and the elves are busy making the final preparations to Santa’s sleigh in the North Pole, before crisis strikes.
Audiences will find out whether the children will be able to help Santa to save the say.
The live stage show includes songs and audience interaction, and youngsters will receive a small gift from Santa’s workshop.

December 20, 21, 22 and 23: Once Upon A Bus will be bringing their interactive Yuletide experience to The Fifield Inn.
The team will be holding a 45-minute session on the Yuletide bus.
On the upper deck, guests will help the elves trick St Nick into thinking it is Christmas Eve by singing his favourite song and telling his favourite stories.
Visitors will then be taken downstairs by family into the Ice cave to meet Santa.
Following this, attendees can purchase food and drink from The Fifield Inn.
The sessions are limited to 30 people and tickets cost £10 per person.
Sessions will take place from 9.30am to 10.15am, 10.45am to 11.30am and noon to 12.45pm across all the dates.

January 16 to January 18: It is panto season in Twyford his January as Aladdin comes to Loddon Hall.
Join Aladdin as he searches for a magic lamp under the influence of Abanazer.
The show will take place at 7.45pm on January 16, 2pm and 7pm on January 17 and at 2pm on January 18.
Those who book tickets before Christmas Day will be entered into the free draw to win a cuddly panda.

Until December 21: Residents can choose a Christmas tree from the Christmas Tree Shop in Windsor Great Park.
A selection of trees ranging from 3-4 feet through to 15-16 feet are available.
The trees are grown sustainably in Britain, with many of them coming from the Windsor Estate.
Shoppers can choose from a traditional Norway spruce, Nordmann fir or a traditional blue spruce.
The shop also offers potted trees of Norway spruce and Nordmann fir, ranging from 2-2.5 feet to 4-5 feet.
