Police in Slough are investigating after a dog was killed
A Slough man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman suffered critical injuries during an attack yesterday (February 14).
The man, 57, remains in police custody while the woman, in her 50s, was transferred to hospital for treatment. Her condition has been described by police as critical.
Emergency services found the injured woman inside a property in Upton Lea, near Uxbridge Road, at around 3pm in the afternoon.
Police said, though an investigation is ongoing, there is not believed to be a wider risk to the public as the victim and the suspect were known to each other.
