BONFIRE NIGHT: A host of events will be taking place this weekend to mark Bonfire Night. Click here for a full round-up.
BURNHAM: Christian charity the Well at Lent Rise, is hosting an afternoon of reminiscing today (Friday).
The event is part of the charity's Memory Book project, which aims to creative a scrapbook of people's memories to learn more about family histories.
Former Burnham Business Association chairman Paul Sherriff will be attending.
The event will run from 2pm to 4pm at the Burnham Methodist Church Hall in Lent Rise Road.
Anyone who has grown up in the area is welcome to attend and contribute their memories.
Tea, coffee and home-made cake will be available.

TWYFORD: Family entertainment will be available in the form of live music today (Friday) at the United Reformed Church in Church Street.
Local soprano, Elizabeth Croft, will team up with pianist Marisa Cornford where they will perform renditions of popular songs seen in films and on stage, including classics from the Wizard of Oz, Toy Story and Frozen.

HARE HATCH: Ideas and gifts for Christmas will be available well ahead of the occasion at Sheeplands Garden Centre this weekend.
The popular crafts fair will return, where a number of stall holders are set to pitch up at the London Road business and sell personally-made items to shoppers.
Jewellery, food and art are just some of the potential presents that will be up for sale.
Keeping in the spirit of the event, arts and crafts activities will be available to keep children entertained.
It will take place on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 4pm
MAIDENHEAD: The 38th annual Combined Charities Fair will be held at Maidenhead Town Hall this weekend.
Alongside the Lions Club's tombola and the Ladies Circle providing refreshments, stallholders will include Maidenhead Girlguiding, Help for Heroes and Cancer of Unknown Primary.
There will be a wide range of seasonal offers including hand-made Christmas decorations, cakes, toys and jewellery. The Ramblers will also be offering advice on local walks. This year’s fair takes place on Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
SLOUGH: A psychology and sociology teacher who uses rap to engage disaffected youngsters will perform at the Queensmere Shopping Centre tomorrow (Saturday).
Ghettogeek, real name Thomas Owoo, will perform for Slough-based charity Aiik Saath’s Empoword poetry showcase.
He started performing in London’s poetry circuit this year after his A-level sociology class asked him to demonstrate his ‘sociology in rap’ teaching method out of class.
Poet Remedy will also be performing her emotionally charged, social-issue orientated poetry.
Performances will be in the Yes Shop from 3pm to 5pm.
MAIDENHEAD: An evening of Indian music and dance will take place at Norden Farm on Sunday for its Diwali celebrations.
Devdutt Joshi and his musicians will be performing a variety of Indian music, including geet, ghazal, Bollywood, qawalli and more.
Mr Joshi has performed across the world with a host of leading musicians, in a career spanning nearly three decades.
There will also be performances from Norden Farm’s Bollywood and kathak dance classes.
Bollywood is an energetic modern Indian dance style, which sparked a booming film industry.
Kathak hails from Northern India and is known for intricate footwork and fast pirouettes, featuring bells worn around the ankles.

SLOUGH: Petrol heads can feast their eyes on an array of vintage Volkswagens on Sunday at the Slough Swapmeet at the Montem Leisure Centre car park.
The swapmeet is a spare parts jumble sale designed mainly for vintage VW enthusiasts, however other vintage cars are also welcome to attend.
The sale at the Montem Lane site runs from 9.30am to 3pm. Trophies will be awarded for various categories including ‘King of the Car Park.’
