A Smooth Fox Terrier called Nelson was one of the top dogs at a fun show at Hare Hatch Sheeplands on Sunday.

Owner Maggie Kellermann-Thornton, from Twyford, wore a black eye-patch to help Nelson clinch the title of 'dog that looks most like its owner'.

”I thought about it the day before and made the patch on the morning of the show, to match the patch on the dog’s face,” she said.

Large crowds turned out to watch the canines compete in a range of classes, and helped raise £817 for the children's bereavement support charity Daisy's Dream.

Murphy, a four-year-old Cavapoo, with his handler Alice Watts, from Woosehill, won the Best in Show title and Best Trick class.
