The parents of a teenager who was stabbed to death in a Reading night club have described their son as ‘priceless.’
Jordan Malutshi’s parents Gitta Tshibala and Michael Malutshi appealed to anyone inside the club who witnessed the incident to contact police.
Jordan died from a single stab wound to the heart at the Face Bar nightclub in Chatham Street at about 3.50am on Sunday.
Jerome Small, from Arbour Close, Coley, Reading, has been charged with his murder and was due to appear at Reading Magistrates Court this morning.
“We have seen many times on TV things like this happening and you think that it only happens to other people, but now it has happened to us,” they said in a statement.
“We call our son Jordan but his friends call him Priceless. He was Priceless. A young man, full of talent, who was just discovering himself.
“We know that mothers and fathers out there will be wondering how it feels to go through something like this, but please don’t wish to experience what we are going through. We don’t want to see any more young lives taken away before they discover what life is about.”
