Police have appealed for witnesses following a major crash on the A4 Bath Road on Sunday last week.
A 27-year-old male driver of a Honda S2000 sports car was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following the collision with a Mini Cooper in the New Bath Road which left a 12-year-old boy and his mum in hospital. They were later released with minor injuries.
The driver of the black sports car has been bailed until Sunday, July 22.
The collision happened on the New Bath Road stretch of the A4 between the Wee Waif roundabout and the Wargrave Road roundabout at about 6.30pm.
PC Matthew Clayton, of the Joint Roads Policing Unit based in Taplow, said: “I am very keen to speak to the driver of a white or light coloured Ford Fiesta which was travelling along the A4 towards Knowl Hill at the time or indeed anyone who may have seen what happened or seen any of the cars being driven along the A4 at Twyford prior to the collision.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
