In the public notices this week, Slough Borough Council is proposing three new parking zones in Colnbrook and Poyle stretching into Langley.

A new ‘CP4’ parking zone would introduce shared use for residents and free short-stay parking, limited to one hour (no return within an hour) from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday on select roads.

These include Aintree Close, Bath Road, Coleridge Crescent, Daventry Close, Dawley Ride, Fawsley Close, Ingleside, Laurel Close, Meadowbrook Close, Myrtle Close, part of Poyle Road, Raymond Close, Rodney Way, Sherborne Close, Tall Trees and Winchester Close.

Waiting restrictions at all times would also be brought in for sections of some of these roads.

The council also proposes a new ‘CP5’ parking zone with the same restrictions, applying to parts of Arkwright Road, Augustine Close, Blackthorne Road, Colndale Road, David Road, Horton Road, Mathisen Way, Millbrook Way, Poyle Road, Prescott Road and Willow Road.

Lastly, the council is proposing changes to parking arrangements in Bath Road, Galleymead Road and Poyle New Cottages under a new ‘CP6’ parking zone.

The scheme would apply to properties in Elbow Meadow (Meadow View Court, numbers 1–4), Orchard Leigh (numbers 1–12) and Galleymead Road (both sides for its entire length).

Waiting restrictions at all times would also be introduced in parts of Poyle New Cottages.

More details, including the full list of affected addresses, can be seen on the council’s website at: slough.gov.uk/consultations-petitions/public-notices-orders/3

Objections must be made in writing by Friday, September 19 and sent to parking.consultations@slough.gov.uk or by post to:

Matthew Hooper, Place and Communities, Slough Borough Council, Observatory House, 25 Windsor Road, Slough SL1 2EL.
