Here are the most recent crime reports in Maidenhead, from April 4 to April 18. All information comes from Thames Valley Alerts.
Maidenhead Central (Riverside, Belmont and town centre)
Burglary Residential - 2
Saturday, April 8 – cash and a scooter were stolen from a property on Cookham Road.
Tuesday, April 11 – belongings were stolen from a car parked on St Luke’s Road. There was also a possible attempt of a break-in to the car owner’s flat.
Theft from a Motor Vehicle - 7
Tuesday, April 4 – a car was broken into during the evening, on Grenfell Road. A bag, containing valuables and a laptop were stolen.
Thursday, April 6 – a van was broken into on Riseley Road, sometime between April 6 and April 9. Nothing was stolen but items were thrown all around the van.
Saturday, April 8 – a van was broken into on North Town Road during the day. The owner’s bag, containing personal car keys and driving licence were stolen.
Monday, April 10 – a car was broken into on Fotherby Court and the owner’s wallet was stolen.
Wednesday, April 12 – a car parked in a garage in Pintail Way was broken into during the early hours and two pairs of sunglasses were stolen.
Thursday, April 13 – a van parked on Moorbridge Road was broken into, whilst the owner was working nearby and various tools were stolen.
Saturday, April 15 – a van parked outside Maidenhead Fire Station was broken into and items were taken from the back of the vehicle.
Theft of a Motor Vehicle – 1
Saturday, April 15 – a moped was stolen overnight, from the back entrance to flats on Norfolk Road.
Maidenhead South (Boyn Hill, Cox Green, Woodlands Park, Oldfield and Bray)
Burglary Residential – 1
Wednesday, April 5 – the owner of a property in Greenfields returned home at around 3.30pm to find they had been burgled. Graffiti was written on the bedroom door and a safe containing money and an Xbox was stolen. Two suspects were arrested.
Theft from a Motor Vehicle – 2
Friday, April 7 – a car was broken into on Brunel Road during the evening. The owner’s wallet was stolen.
Friday, April 7 – a van in Maple Close was broken into during the early hours and a car key was stolen.
Theft of a Motor Vehicle – 1
Friday, April 7 – the car relating to the above van break-in above was subsequently stolen. Suspect was arrested.
Interference of a Motor Vehicle – 1
Friday, April 7 – a suspect was seen on CCTV trying car doors in Larchfield Road. The suspect was later arrested for stealing a vehicle from a neighbouring road.
Maidenhead West (Bisham, Cookham, Hurley, Pinkneys Green and Furze Platt)
Burglary Residential – 2
Wednesday, April 12 – two properties in Hall Lane were broken into during the night. Damage was caused to both doors and various tools were stolen.
Theft from a Motor Vehicle – 5
Friday, April 7 – a vehicle parked at a property on Harefield Road was broken into and loose change was stolen.
Thursday, April 6 – a second vehicle on Harefield Road was broken into. Although the suspects made a mess, nothing was stolen.
Monday, April 10– sometime between April 10 and April 13, a van parked on Cookham High Street was broken into and all of the tools inside were stolen.
Wednesday, April 12 – sometime between 4pm and 5pm, registration plates were stolen from a vehicle parked in the car park of Maidenhead Town Bowls Club, Oaken Grove Park.
Sunday, April 16 – a car parked on the driveway of a property on Highway Road, was broken into during the evening and cash was stolen. The incident was picked up on the Ring doorbell.
Theft of a Vehicle – 1
Monday, April 10 – a car parked at a property in The Dell was stolen sometime during the day.
Interference of a Motor Vehicle – 2
Sunday, April 16 – two residents on Highway Road reported an individual trying car doors at their properties. Nothing was stolen.
