A PUB quiz at the Rising Sun at Witheridge Hill, Highmoor, raised more than £600 for Wyfold Riding for the Disabled.

The event, held on Monday, saw 50 per cent of the entry fee donated to the charity, that provides horse-riding and carriage driving opportunities for individuals with physical, sensory and learning disabilities.

Recently, Lottie Macfarlane’s child was hit by a person driving dangerously while on the zebra crossing on Hatch Lane, Windsor resulting in her being injured. Her petition asks to move the zebra crossing so that it’s not as close to Tesco’s car park (Hatch Lane) or the roundabout.
