Teacher's sketch show is going to Edinburgh Fringe

A primary school teacher is hoping his comic turn at the Edinburgh Fringe will pull in the crowds this month.

Tom Hyland, who lives in East Park Farm Drive, Charvil, is performing with friends in a sketch show called ‘No Poofs No Piano’ at 'The Space in the Mile' in the heart of the Scottish capital with shows every day until August 18, 2pm.

Last month the 23-year-old teacher had to turn people away from the sketch show at the Henley Fringe because it was too popular.

“Promoting the show has been really intense, but it’s going really well, “said the supply teacher for Cookham Dean Primary.

The comedy sketch show started on Marlow FM and has been adapted for stage.
