A 36-year-old man has been jailed for burglary and a string of handling stolen goods offences in the Berkshire area.
Daniel Derriman, from Gas Cottages, Kennetside, Reading was jailed for 28 months for the burglary of a home in St Batholomews Road, Reading and six counts of handling stolen goods.
He was arrested at his home on March 5 where officers found evidence of the burglary and goods from burglaries across the Berkshire area.
They included tools worth £1,200 that were stolen from the Wyevale Garden Centre in Hare Hatch on February 18.
PC Chris Susel, from Loddon Valley Local CID, said: “I am pleased with the sentence handed out to Derriman, which are a result of a lengthy investigation into his criminality.
"I trust the sentences will be a deterrent to others and show them that offences of this kind will be not be tolerated in the local community.”
*Derriman's brother Mark received a 40 month prison sentence for the Batholomews Roads burglary and four other burglaries, and handling stolen goods offences at Reading Crown Court on April 3.
