A bigamist from Twyford given a suspended six-month prison sentence has claimed his actions 'didn't harm anyone'.
Peter Lloyd also says he was treated like an ‘international terrorist’ by police who should have been concentrating their efforts on thieves targeting homes and cars in the area.
The 53-year-old, from Harrison Close, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court last month after admitting breaking the law by marrying a woman in Thailand in 2000 - despite still being married to his first wife and the mother of his three children.
Lloyd, who is legally married to his fourth wife, was arrested by police in November 2011 after a probe by UK Border Agency officials.
A police spokesman said if Mr Lloyd had any complaint about his arrest or treatment by officers he should contact the force's quality of service department.
