Celebrity chef Mary Berry among those giving reading at upcoming Bisham carol service

A celebrity chef will be among those giving a reading at a carol service for St John Ambulance on Friday (December 8).

The service, organised by St John Priory Group for the third year, will take place at All Saints Church in Bisham from 6.30pm.

Some of the those giving a reading will include TV chef Mary Berry and the Constable and Governor of Windsor Castle, Lieutenant General Philip Jones.

The Tamesis Chamber Choir founded by Louise Rapple Moore in Reading in 2003 will be performing at the event.

Attendees will enjoy a range of well-known carols, the choir will perform Christmas songs, and a choral piece called Gloria, written by Graham Barker, the Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Berkshire, will be performed for the first time.

Tickets cost £12 and include a glass of wine and a mince pie.

Children are welcome to attend and any youngsters under the age of 12 can come and join in the festivities for free.
