Maidenhead United Women’s team were winners in 2024

--

It’s time to get your nominations in for this year’s Berkshire Football Awards 2025.

There’s a category for just about everything related to football - both on and off the field. So, which volunteer has worked tirelessly for their club this season and which players have impressed you week in and week out?

The breadth of categories means that not only do the best players in the men’s and women’s game get recognised, but the game’s unsung heroes also get their moment in the spotlight.

A brand-new award this year will highlight the work of club ground staff and the effort they put in around the clock to ensure their pitches are playable come rain, snow, wind or shine.

The 2025 Berkshire Football Awards will again take place at the Double-Barrelled Brewery in Reading on Wednesday, June 18, from 6pm and Paul Watson - The Sweeper Podcast and Guardian Football Weekly Podcast, and author of Up Pohnpei! - will return as host for the event.

The deadline for submissions is midday on Monday, May 26, and the long list of nominees will be published on Wednesday, May 28 followed by the shortlist on Friday, May 30.

You can nominate as many people as you like for each award – the quantity of nominations counts for the judging panel. That said, quality is just as important, the more detail you provide about why you are nominating, the better.
