Martin leaves Slough Town FC

Adam Martin has left Slough Town.

Adam Martin has left Slough Town FC to join League of Ireland side Bohemians.

The midfielder was in his second stint at Holloways Park having joined on loan towards the end of the 2010/11 season.

Rebels boss Steve Bateman said: "Adam has had the opportunity to go full-time over in Ireland for Bohemians.

"It's a great opportunity for him and with the situation he's in at the moment, with no commitments stopping him, he couldn't really turn the chance down.

"We wish him all the best."

Bateman says Martin's departure does not mean he will be looking to bring in a replacement.

"I'm more than happy with what I've got," he said. "We've got plenty of cover in the centre."
