Royals sign defender Connolly
Reading FC have signed defender Matthew Connolly on loan from QPR for the rest of the season.
Connolly, who came through the Arsenal Academy, can play anywhere across the defence and has played five time in the Premier League this season.
He started 33 games for Rangers alongside Kaspars Gorkss, as they claimed the Championship title last season.
Royals boss Brian McDermott said: "He can play anywhere in the back four and we think this is a really good signing.
"He's played a number of games in the Premier League this year and played more than 30 times was Kaspars last year.
"I remember him as a youngster at Arsenal, Bournemouth, he's been a utility player and he's just the job at 24."
