Teenage girl slapped during attempted robbery

A teenager was slapped in the face and pushed over during an attempted robbery in Woosehill on Sunday.

The 15-year-old girl was walking through Linnet Walk park at about 6pm when she was approached by the man who asked her for money before assaulting her.

She was uninjured but left very shaken. Nothing was stolen.

The man is white, about 18 or 19-years-old, 5ft 10ins, with a thin build and short dark hair.
