Hurst village sign to be unveiled

A village sign will be unveiled in Hurst on Saturday, April 25.

Designed by Twyford artist Sally Castle, the sign will be erected near to the duck pond in Broadwater Lane at 2pm.

It depicts the ancient village of St Nicolas Hurst through the ages, featuring the 11th century church, village pond, cricket green, farming, and bowling.
